Is this tour right for you?

Best for

First-time via ferrata participants, since no prior climbing experience is needed. Visitors combining Bosnia and Montenegro on the same trip. Groups who want a longer, more scenic route than a short city-edge ferrata.

Not ideal for

Children under 12 (minors need parental consent) or guests over 120 kg, due to equipment limits. Anyone with a severe fear of heights or serious heart or respiratory conditions.

Guide advice

Allow extra time for the drive — Plužine is roughly 2.5-3 hours from Sarajevo via Foča. Bring a camera for the platform view partway up the final 80-metre climb. Book ahead in peak summer; tours run May through November.
